All-state selection each of the past two seasons, ESPN.com rates Butterfield as the No. 36 quarterback in the 2009 high school graduating class … Named The Arkansas Democrat-Gazette’s Class 6A offensive player of the year for 2008, Butterfield chose Arkansas State over other school’s recruiting efforts, including Arkansas, Kansas, Nebraska, Oklahoma State, Princeton and Virginia … Recorded 6,930 career passing yards for Lake Hamilton with 63 touchdown passes and led the Wolves to Arkansas’ Class 6A state championship last season.
