A standout all-around performer, Stottlemyer was named The Seattle Times’ King County 4A Crown Division’s Co-Defensive Player of the Year while being named to the division’s first-team defense as a defensive back, first-team offense as a kick returner and second-team offense as a receiver. A team captain in three sports (football, basketball and baseball), Stottlemyer also earned the Scholar Athlete Award from Seattle’s Chapter of the National Football Foundation and College Hall of Fame.
