Bulldogs … Had 4,775 rushing yards during his career, putting him second all-time in New Mexico history … Holds the state record for touchdowns in his career with 76 … Had 221 carries for 2,047 yards and 29 touchdowns as a running back in 2008 … Gathered 19 receptions for 293 yards and two touchdowns as a receiver … Had eight kick returns for 158 yards and three punt returns for 78 yards, including a 74-yard touchdown … Had 45 solo tackles and 36 assisted tackles on the defensive side of the ball … Had two forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries for the year … Blocked a field goal during the season … Named Prep NM.com Offensive Player of the Year and first team All-Southwest  in 2008 as a running back, cornerback and as a punt returner … Named first-team all-state as a cornerback, running back and special teams … Named all-district as a cornerback and running back and named as a 2008 South All-Star … Named first team all-state and all-district and was a NM Preps Mr. Football finalist in 2007 … Started for Las Cruces High since his sophomore season in 2006 … Helped his team to a state championship and a perfect 13-0 record in 2008.
