Bike Night
June 6, 2009Thursday Mick and I spent the afternoon at Quaker Steak & Lube for Bike Night. Originally scheduled for Wednesday, the event was postponed due to weather. It was a good call, as Thursday was beautiful , bringing out a few hundred bikers. Rock 106.9 was doing live broadcast from the event, and Mick even got on the air to talk about the Team USA Road Tour and the Junior World Championship.
A live band played some great rock and roll tunes as the sun began to set, as the bikers walked around and checked out all the other bikes. There was no shortage of leather, skull caps, and sun glasses, as each biker was decked out. It was quite a sight to see the bikers at the football toss, as many tested out their skills.
It was a very cool event, concluded with wings!
