Hoosier Heroes

Matt and I are headed to Sheridan, Indiana to meet Team USA’s Nick Zachary, 2008 Indiana Mr. Football runner-up. A stand-out at QB, Zachary led his team to four state championship games, winning titles his freshman, sophomore, and junior years. Zachary also made an impact on the defensive side of the ball and will play corner back for Team USA.

I am looking forward to meeting Sheridan Coach Bud Wright, who ranks second all time in wins in Indiana, behind Jasper’s Jerry Brewer 368 victories. Wright has collected nine state championship over his 43-year coaching career, the most of any head coach in Indiana.
